AGEC - Association for German Education in Calgary


The Association for German Education in Calgary (AGEC) supports, promotes and integrates quality German language programs and cultural activities in Calgary.

As a charitable organization with more than 10 years in operation, AGEC supports a variety of educational programs ranging from playgroups for toddlers and the German bilingual program at Bowcroft School to a scholarship fund at the University of Calgary.

You can also participate in AGEC’s cultural events such as the St Martin Lantern Parade and Calgary’s family-friendly Octoberfest.

Bücherklatsch The 5th edition of Bücherklatsch was a huge success that provided young and old with bag after bag filled with books and over $1000 in support of German language and cultural programs in Calgary.

A big "Thank You" goes out to our dedicated volunteers who contributed to this success story!

Movie Night: Sergeant Pepper
Fun family movie about a dog, named after the Beatles album, who inherits his master's fortune. His owner's two children, however, devise a plan to make off with his wealth but Sergeant Pepper and his new friend, 6-year-old Felix, fight back.
