The Association for German Education in Calgary (AGEC) supports, promotes and integrates quality German language programs and cultural activities in Calgary. It was founded by a group of motivated parents who successfully collaborated with the Calgary Board of Education to establish Calgary's first public German bilingual program. More than 10 years in operation, we are now an established charitable organization and support a variety of educational and cultural programs across the entire city ranging from playgroups and early music education for toddlers to a scholarship fund to support teacher education at the University of Calgary.
We meet monthly, usually on the second Monday of the month, at Richmond Co-op. A notice of meeting and agenda will be published under AGEC News and Events a few days prior to each meeting. Please feel free to come to our meetings if you would like to get involved!
